The Core Insight

The Pre-Alarm Detection Gap

Every threshold-based detector — smoke, heat, gas — is architecturally incapable of reporting anything until its threshold is crossed. It cannot report that smoke density is rising. It cannot report that a heat detector has been reading 15 degrees above baseline for 20 minutes. The data exists. The sensors are measuring it. But no conventional system reads or reports it.

This is the pre-alarm detection gap. HESDA™ closes it by reading and analyzing sub-threshold sensor data in real time — detecting the pattern of a developing fire condition before any detector threshold is crossed.
